Master's Blend Four Grain is his showpiece: 51% corn, 22.5% wheat, 19% malted barley, and 7.5% rye — a mashbill with barely enough corn to be bourbon — aged six to seven years and bottled at 105.9 proof. The Whiskey Wash: oak and pine, bananas Foster, golden marshmallow, and red cherry on the nose; milk chocolate, vanilla, and honey with a buttery mouthfeel and a mint-rye lift on the palate; and a tannic, mineral, dry finish — 7 out of 10, well blended.
